Quote of the Day-"You know who got the highest grade on the test? A high school sophomore."
Thought of the Day: I'm the youngest in my class, and yet i got the highest grade. Alright! Thank God it's vacation!

no, i'm not getting big-headed. i'm just happy that i got the highest grade in that class. there are so much smart people in that class. and i guess taking the test analy paid off! and well, not having anything else to do also paid off.

my day:

i woke up before i wanted to wake up. gosh darn it. stupid brother's cellphone!

so i went downstairs, and i felt like photoshoping. and so i made a new layout! yes. as you all saw my front page. yay! i really like what i did. i think it looks nice. the effects are pretty simple. i didn't make it all complicated. i just used the gradient map to make it tha color, and i used this paintbrush that goes horizontally and used a burned effect. so it burned whatever it touched. and i really like the outcome.

so i went to class and when i got there it was like 10:25 and there was only me, this other student and the teacher! whoa! i was like, "i think the students are boycotting". haha. and i was like, "can i go outside to call someone if they're coming to class?" and when i went outside, there was victoria. she came. lol. and uhmm...everyone was just late, i don't know why. unusual cuz it's after the test and yea.

LAKERS WON.

i have nothing else to say, so imma go.

take care everyone.

Quote of the Day-"And i wrote a note at the end of my test saying 'sorry if i fail this test, i just don't know shit'. "
Thought of the Day: There should be an American Idol tonight.

Alright! Done with midterms!

my day:

so i woke up at like 7:26ish, and right when i went downstairs, i finished my notes for the midterm for my theater arts class. i was seriously panicking cuz i did not know how his tests were going to be like. oh yea, this might be a little off the subject, but my teacher is the dad on that sylvan learning center commercial, so if you've seen him, then yea, that's my teacher. anyway, i was really panicking about the test and i guess i took the test analy because, well, i had like 20 pages of notes, more or less. so once i finished my notes, i sorta ate and then took a shower and got dressed and then i read, and then i went to lacc.

i called victoria so that we could review, and when i called her, she told me to meet up at the bookstore cuz she took karla and judy and hansel there to buy their blue books. oh yea, blue books are such a rip-off! lacc is just looking for ways to make money, and i guess the blue book is their plan! the blue book has crappy pages, and they don't even have college ruled papers. anyway, so i got there and me and victoria sorta reviewed, and then we went to go to class, but judy, karla, and hansel and william were outside so we decided to study and talk with them. laughter. and so went in the class, panicking still. and when i saw the test i was like daym!, i know these stuff! i guess studying pays off. but, uhmm...there were these questions i didn't get right, for sure. it was numbers 9, 12, and i think either 32 or 36. 9 asked for the guy who talked about willing suspension of disbelief, and i knew the guy had an s and c in his name, somewhere, but i just couldn't make it out. so i put Sir Arthurt Connady. And i checked after i took the test, and it was Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Pretty close i think. and 12 asked for the working text of the playwright, and i don't even know what the hell he was looking for, so i just put dialogue. and for 32 or 36, it asked for what the term was called when selecting the correct stage for the play, and what the hell, i just put staging. those are the three i'm sure i got wrong.

i got home and i watched. i actually got home by 11:12, and we usually get out of the class at 12:30. oh man, i love test days! we get to get out early, and since i just live close to the school, i just have to walk home! yay!

my brother's essay on Super size me was so similar to mine that it is ridiculous!

i like this one new song.

Kay Gandang Umaga by Sarah Geronimo & duet w/ Mark Bautista

ikaw and s'yang tanging pag-ibig pangarap na aking nakamit taglay mo'y kakaibang pag-irog napawi ang hirap at lungkot  refrain: pagmasdan mo'ng mga ulap sa langit pakinggan and mga ibong umaawit lahat sila'y saksi sa tunay na...mahiwagang pag-ibig  chorus 1: kay gandang umaga dulot ay pag-asa tila, ang paligid ko't paligid mo ay iisa ang tinig mo ay yayakapin sumasabay sa ihip ng hangin kahit saan ay laging kapiling kailanma'y laging mamahalin  repeat refrain  how i long to hold you and i'm glad i found you i will never let you go, i'll love you more eternally puso ma'y bihagin 'di ka lilisanin kahit na, kahit sa huli  bridge: itong mundong puno ng pag-ibig atin ng nakamit.

it's in tagalog and the way i typed it is messy, so it's okay.

well, imma go.

take care everyone.

Quote of the Day-none
Thought of the Day: American Idol was hilarious!

man, this is when you guys hear me complain about theatre arts. i'm only complaining because we have a midterm tomorrow, and there's just so much information to read and remember. good thing i've actually been reading, paying attention, and taking notes, and participating in class, which means i sorta know maybe 1/4ths of what i need to know. i guess all i need to do is read over everything. i have to read over two articles, the introduction, chapters 1, 2, 3, and 6. i've read those already but i have to go over them again. let's see, i've only gone over introduction. lol. after this blog, i will read!

my day: [January 18, 2005]

i woke up and i went to the computer. i went to lacc early because i had to make copies of chapter 3. theatre arts was fun. i love that class. karla got moved though cuz she and the rest of the group were laughing over i do not know. haha. the filipino/filipina group was laughing too, but not as much as them. we were actually paying attention, so none of us had to move. we were not loud!

oh yea, DUDE A stalked michelle again. poor michelle.

AMERICAN IDOL WAS SOOO COOL!

okay, so yesterday was the season premiere of american idol, and as usual, i watched it. i would not let anything come in the way of me and my american idol. hehe. as usual, it had its bad people, the ones who think they sing beautifully but really they're just yelling or talking. but this year, there are a lot of good people! really! either that or the judges were just being too soft, and not too strict.

there was this one singer who caught my attention. she had no money, and she had to sell her wedding ring to the pawnshop just to get money to go to Washington D.C. for the auditions. she took her husband and her four-year-old daughter with her. it was so sad cuz she had no money left to go back to New York, and getting into hollywood was her only chance of travelling. she sang real good, had a great voice and a great audition! she really was good! and she ended up getting in.

another one was this mary roach girl. she either yells or she talks and whispers. i mean that's not singing. i mean i can't really sing well, but hey, at least i don't go on tv thinking i have the best voice on earth and getting pissed because the judges told me i suck ass. well, i might do that when i'm older, and when i have a car. hehe.

i guess that's all, i'll edit later. i need to study.

imma go.

take care everyone.

Quote of the Day-"You won't open big that's why you keep squirting in our face."
Thought of the Day: I want to play tennis. and also, the da vinci code is so fake that it can die!

nothing really interesting today.

my day:

i woke up, i went downstairs, and i turned on the computer. i was chatting with old friends while i was listening to my music.

okay, i seriously miss verdugo now. really i do. i honestly do. i left so much friends there. imagine all the fun that i would have hanging out with my asians, especially my filipino friends. i miss it over there. i mean i did make friends over at the zoo, but nothing like my verdugo friends. i'm sorry guys. but i guess it takes time to trust friends. i do trust you guys, but the friendship has just developed too much at verdugo. i was talking to jen about how she thinks this year is crappy. i think that is a lie jen. well, not really. lol. i wish i was still at verdugo, hanging out with my filipino friends, and asian friends, and whoever friends that i made friends with. you guys are just the coolest.

of course i did make friends over at the la zoo, and  trust them too. thank you guys for being there, you guys don't know how hard it is to adjust to a new school, especially when you won't see people you've been great friends with for a long time.

okay, stop with the cheeziness. they were inviting me to go to the mall, but i couldn't go because of my dentist appointment [which i will go over in a couple]. they ended up not going anyway.

so i fell asleep while they were eating lunch, i didn't eat cuz i was still full. and i guess my brother was watching the da vinci code while i was sleeping, and guess what? my dream was all about the da vinci code, and whatever they were saying on tv was what i was hearing in my dream. how unusual, i thought. anyways, what they were talking about in the da vinci code is that Jesus has descendants. they said that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were husband and wife, and that they had a baby named Sarah. and that there are actual documents that show the holy bloodline. it's not true, they said at the end of the show.

my dentist appointment was hilarious. i don't know why. and so they were cleaning my teeth, and the water-sucking thing accidentally sucked on my lip and made a farting noise. i started laughing but i didn't make any noises, so the dentist thought i was choking on the water. they made me close my mouth and then the water-sucking thing sucked out all the water. and so they kept on cleaning my teeth, and my jaw was starting to hurt. it was getting tired! i guess my mouth started to gradually close, and it really didn't close, but i just didn't open it as big. and then the water in my mouth started squirting into the dentists' faces and i started laughing again!!! and it just kept squirting and i just couldn't hold it in, and i was laughing, and then the dentist said the quote of the day. i swear, i think she got pissed. but hey, i tried to do all i can just to not laugh. i was thinking of sad and scary things just so i wouldn't laugh, but gosh-darn it, i laughed anyway.

LAKERS LOST, those fuckers. i don't care but it makes me angry that we're wasting electricity on them and they don't even win. assholes!

the DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES episode last night was funny and "kick ass".

oh man, i still have to do so much things this break. here is the list:

1. read the book for english class, and do the quotes.
2. study for midterm and finals for theatre arts, and write my finals for pe.
3. fill up my application for tennis, and turn it in.

oh man, i hope they still accept me in the tennis team.

well, that's all. imma go.

take care everyone.

First time in a long time.

  • Mood: content
  • Music: The Reason

Quote of the Day-"Worship the Lord, all you pe-e-e-e-eople!"

Thought of the Day: Those chocolate covered raisins are so darn good.

I AM RUSTY!

my day:

okay, i woke up at like 8 something, and that was one of the best sleep that i got in like a week or something. i was like...wow! i'm so happy that i woke up late! lol. and so i went downstairs and i started working on my website. jeez...i've been working on this website so much now. but i'm happy with the turnout. and then i ate and took a shower and then went to church. church was fun, or should i say fun-ny because of when paulo sang. and that is where the quote of the day came from. cuz the cantor messed up with her lines, and she called paulo to sing the next verse, and i guess he didn't practice it which is why he sorta made a fool out of himself. but guess what, that's alright, he was brave! haha. that's the up side. after that, i met up with people and they were at the barbecue sale, but i didn't buy anything.

and after 2 months i finally did it! okay, all you sickos, NO! that's not what i meant. i finally played tennis after 2 months of not playing. the last time i played was like before thanksgiving, when i found out that i made the team. or a little bit after that. but still, that's a long time. and i got rusty. so this is what happened:
i got there and me and nelson rallied. and then we say these two guys and we asked them if they would play with us. and they did. we rallied first and then we started working on our servings, and damn, i couldn't even serve correctly. i didn't get anything in after like the 10th time trying. and when we started the game, i got like a million double faults; that was how bad i was. we still won though, 6-3. and then nelson played calvin, that's his name, and lost 2-3. i played calvin and lost badly, 0-3. and then i worked on my serves, and played calvin again, and beat him 3-1. that just shows that i can do anything if i set my mind to doing it. how cheesy, but hey, it's true.

well, i'm just happy. tomorrow i have a dentist appointment. getting my teets cleaned.

well, imma go.

take care everyone.

FINALLY

  • Mood: Stinky
  • Music: How could you say you love me

Quote of the Day-"Oh, this is the picky child."

Thought of the Day: It's really cool how they took pics of the...uhmm...oh yea, saturn's moon. i think the name is huygens or something. either that's the name of the moon, or that's the name of the satellite that went to the moon.

ALRIGHT!

and so i finally made my website. i like it. it looks pretty amateurish thought, well, that's probably because this is my first time making a website. i've never done anything like this before. i wanted to customize all the webpages, but it just won't let me. ya know why? i sort of do, because i only signed up for a free website. i have a layout ready for the blog, but it just don't let me. it's an idiot. i guess i'll have to use my layout for my pront page, because that thing really honestly needs help.

my day:

so the day was alright. i woke up at like 4:30a.m. to talk to ate joann because it was her birthday, and so i greeted her. and after i talked to her for like not even 4 minutes, the phone went retarded and died. and well, i tried sleeping again but i just couldn't gosh darn it. it's so hard sleeping these days. maybe because i've been thinking too much about this website. hehe. no, i don't think that's it, it's cuz i don't get tired that much anymore. yea. okay, and so i went downstairs at like 5 cuz i couldn't sleep anymore. so i brought my blanket with me and i watched tv until i fell asleep. i fell asleep and sleeped for like 50 more minutes or something like that. and then i worked on my website again. and then i took a shower and went to the eye doctor to get new glasses. i couldn't pick anything, until i just picked the one that my mom chose for me. those trendy glasses now are just not me, so i didn't get those.

school:

theatre arts is fun. i swear. i love that class. and so we always discuss, and i think that the filipinos/filipinas are the most talkative ones there. well, not really the most talkative, but we're the ones who always talk about other stuff, not the topic.
body conditioning is really nice. the only thing i don't like is the sorta pilates thing and that we have to write a paper for that class. darn it. i wanted it to be a purely excercise class, but i guess that's alright.

well, xanga won't be updated much anymore. i'll focus more on this. well, imma go.

bye.

take care everyone.
